OT Release Notes: Pulga

The Pulga version of the Observing Tool was publicly released on 12 June 2005. Summarised below are the most significant changes from the previous public release (Palote) for off-site users:

• Modified instrument components and iterators
• Improved (detector) overheads: GMOSs, NIRI, NIFS
• New configuration options for Altair (field lens, neutral-density filter)
• Updated NIFS component and iterator (disperser, readmode)
• Added Michelle polarimetry option (for testing and future science use, when available)
• User interaction and user interface features
• Further improvements to the time accounting (for planned execution time as well as time charged to program and to partner)
