The Pulga version of the Observing Tool was publicly
released on 12 June 2005. Summarised below are the most significant changes
from the previous public release (Palote) for off-site users:
Modified instrument components and iterators
Improved (detector) overheads: GMOSs, NIRI, NIFS
New configuration options for Altair (field lens, neutral-density
filter)
Updated NIFS component and iterator (disperser, readmode)
Added Michelle polarimetry option (for testing and future science use,
when available)
User interaction and user interface features
Further improvements to the time accounting (for planned execution time
as well as time charged to program and to partner)
