Instrument Observing Blocks: 2002A

caution The schedules below indicate the current best estimate of instrument blocks for 2002A. They are subject to engineering demands on the telescopes during this shared-risks phase. To ensure best availability for queue observing, please try and avoid the extremes of the specified RA ranges.

Gemini North

NIRI:

  • No restrictions on target RA.

GMOS:

  • No restrictions on target RA.

Hokupa'a/QUIRC:

  • Available during February-April only. (This is subject to the availability of the loaned University of Hawaii near-IR camera, QUIRC). Only targets with RA between 2h and 22h will be accepted.

CIRPASS:

  • Available during March and April only. Only targets with RA between 4h and 22h will be accepted.

Gemini South

T-ReCS:

  • Available for imaging after 1 June 2002; only targets with RA between 10h and 4h will be accepted.
  • Not available for spectroscopy.

Acquisition Camera:

  • No restrictions on target RA.

Flamingos I:

  • Available for imaging and long-slit spectroscopy during June and July; only targets with RA between 10h and 4h will be accepted.
  • Not available for multi-object spectroscopy.

Phoenix:

  • Available during Feb-May only. Only targets with RA between 2h and 24h will be accepted.
